Sharen – Receptionist

I meet and greet patients when they come into the office, as well as file insurance papers, answer phones, and schedule appointments. I love getting to know our patients and their parents. It is a great day when their braces come off and we all get to see their new, wonderful smiles.

My husband's name is Tony. I have two stepchildren, Lyndsey and Zachary, a grandson named Cooper, and two black labs. I love to decorate, go shopping, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.

Steve – IT, Records, Sterile Technician

I keep our computers working, take patient impressions, make sure all of our equipment is clean, and most importantly, I make good coffee! I really enjoy working with such a specialized team in a great atmosphere. Our office is a lot of fun and we throw great patient appreciation parties!

My wife's name is Jacquie. We have a new daughter and two cats. When I have free time I love to play music, research technology, and talk politics.

Sara – Multi-tasker

I take care of many things around the office, mostly working the front desk, taking care of records and insurance, and sterilization. I really love working with the patients. All the different attitudes and personalities make for a fun, colorful day for me. Dr. D is my father, so we really do have a family environment. What I love the most is how every day is a fun-loving adventure with storytelling, joking around, and bounds of laughter while we work on patients together as a team.

A lot of my free time is spent at school, IUPUI campus, but when school is out, I enjoy exercising, reading, politics, watching movies, and volunteering when possible!

Sandy – Clinical Assistant

I assist Dr. Darbro in the clinic working with patients: bondings, adjustments, installing appliances--just about everything. Dr. Darbro is very laid back and fun to work with. He loves to joke around, and we always have a lot of fun here! I love getting to know each patient that comes into the office and seeing their smiles transform.

My husband's name is Steve and we have two sons, Bobby and Cole, a grandson named Kyran, and two miniature dachshunds, Magic and Digger. When I'm not in the office I enjoy walking, working out at the gym, and singing. I LOVE music.

Rhonda – Clinical Assistant

I work directly with patients to help them achieve their beautiful smiles! Seeing the end results when we've made our patients happy and satisfied with their smile is the best part of my job. We have fun contests to involve the patients and parents in our practice and we are always laughing and acting goofy! I think it helps the patients feel more comfortable and at ease when they come to see us and know that we love our jobs and coworkers.

My husband's name is Brent and we have a son, Spencer, and a daughter, Lauren, as well as two dogs, Boomer and Chesney. I enjoy hanging by my pool, working out, reading and going to IU football and basketball games. I also love the Colts.

Liz – Financial and Insurance Coordinator

I finalize the finances just prior to treatment and answer questions concerning treatment, accounts, and insurance. Lately I've been driving our school shuttle service, picking up patients for long appointments. Watching Dr. Darbro bend wires just amazes me, and I love hearing him interact with patients with such laughter and humor.

I am married to Dr. Darbro and we have six children, five grandchildren, three cats, and five fish. When I have free time i enjoy piecing quilt tops and am slowly learning how to complete an entire quilt.

Kim – Treatment Coordinator

I help new patients get started with their orthodontic treatment and take care of our existing patients. I try to address our patients' concerns in a caring manner and explain to them how getting their teeth straightened can change how they feel about themselves and how others will see them. We have a lot of fun in the office with each other and with our patients.

I am married to my husband, Kevin, and we have three children, Kyle, Katie, and Kelsey, three dogs, and two horses. I love walking, baking, and reading, and I am a huge chocoholic!

Linda – Lab Technician

I take patient impressions, take X-rays, and make our patients' appliances. Since I also do most of the final records after patients are debonded, I get to see the before and after results. I love that the patients are so excited about their new beautiful smiles! Dr. Darbro is always in a good mood and he keeps the office very up-beat with his great sense of humor.

My husband's name is Dave and we have a daughter, Ashlee, a son-in-law, Brian, and two grandsons, Mason and Owen. Our other daughter, Lindsey, is married to Chris. I love shopping, selling Silpada jewelry, and going to Colts games!
